We are an organization that helps singers and speakers learn proper vocal technique. We offer private lessons in the New York and Boston areas, private and group instructional workshops, group workshops for companies and corporations to help their executives improve their communications skills and we also tailor specialized vocal technique programs to bands, singing groups and choirs. We teach the McClosky Voice technique in combination with the Alexander Technique and other techniques to educate our clients and voice students to preserve their voices as well as avoid vocal burnout. We also work one-on-one with our medical clients who are suffering from voice disorders and are in need of voice therapy. Welcome to THE HEALTHY VOICE. Our organization was founded to help educate singers and speakers in developing proper vocal technique to avoid losing their voice. Whether you're a speaker who constantly has to cope with hoarseness or chronic laryngitis or a singer who cannot sing for many consecutive nights due to the use of chest voice belting technique, we are here to help you in any way that we can. We are very knowledgeable in the anatomy and physiology of the voice and can help assist you with any voice disorder that you may have been diagnosed with by your doctor. We work with Ear, Nose and Throat doctors, Ornolaryngologists and Speech Pathologists to help you get through even the toughest of times vocally. Our group seminars and private instruction will help you gain total control and mastering of your speaking and singing mechanism through posture and breathing techniques and total relaxation of the correct muscle groups involving the larynx. We are affiliated with the McClosky Institute of Voice and teach the McClosky Voice Technique which was utilized by President John F. Kennedy, Governor Michael Dukakis and many other prominent singers and speakers for over fifty years.
